DE PUTRON JUNIOR TRAINING CAMP - april
Following the success of last year’s Granite Kids’ races, we are pleased to announce our first Granite Kids training weekend to take place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April. David Hooper and Adel Tyson-Bloor are both accredited coaches with the British Triathlon Association and will be visiting from the UK to run the course at St Sampson’s High School. The weekend is open to children from age 8 to 13 (age as at 17th April 2010).
The aim of the course is to encourage children who enjoy running, cycling and swimming to learn correct training techniques which will enable them to safely improve their performance, and give them the confidence to compete in multi-sport events in the future. Mainly though, it should be a lot of fun and will provide a small taste of why triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports world-wide!
Thanks to generous sponsorship from De Putron Fund Management Guernsey we are able offer the weekend at the minimal fee of £10 per child. Entry forms are available on both the Granite Kids section and the Events section. All enquiries should be directed to Colette Andrews.

Jersey have confirmed their intention to compete at the inter insular on the 11th July at Pembroke.
