TRI CLUB AGM
Welcome to Alan Hunt and Lyn Mahy who kindly volunteered to join the Tri Club Committee last night. Lyn will be taking on the role of Secretary whilst Alan will be assisting Adrian Thorley (new Chief Race Marshall) with planning courses. All the original Committee still remain with the exception of Tim Johns who stood down as Chief Race Marshall. We would like to express our thanks to Tim for all his hardwork over the past two years, especially for his fantastic design work for Granite Man.
A new childrens sub-committee headed by Colette Andrews was formed last night. A big thank you to Iain Lowe, Jennifer Roussel and Richard Stapley for volunteering to assist Colette with this new focus for 2010 which aims to provide more races for children aged 8 to 13 years.
CHRISTMAS AQUATHLON - SPLASH & DASH
The last race of 2009 is the Christmas Aquathlon at Beau Sejour on Sunday 20th December at 3.30pm. This is open to Juniors aged 8 to 13 and Adults 14 years plus (Age on race day).
Adults - Swim 16 lengths, Run 2 laps of Cambridge Park
Juniors - Swim 8 lengths, Run 1 lap of Cambridge Park
Mince Pies for everyone - Free to members, £2 Non Members
Please email Emma Nicolle if you will be competing so that we can ensure we have enough prizes for everyone.
NEW LOOK FOR MEMBERSHIP FOR 2010
There is a new format for renewing your membership to the Tri Club this year. After the success of using Entry Central for our Granite Man event we are using them for memberships. This new online format is now open. Please follow the link below to Entry Central's website.

SWIMMING LESSONS - SPRING TERM
Dates for the spring term course at Beau Sejour are as follows:
Wednesday 6th Jan until Wednesday 24th March 2010 - 8pm to 9pm (No class on 17th Feb half term)
Cost is £94.50 for the full 12 weeks (or you can just do half a term if you prefer)

GIAAC EVENTS 2009
Please see the attached information regarding the GIAAC forthcoming events and also their training schedule. The upcoming cross country series is a great way to stay in shape over the winter - perfect training for those spring duathlons!

bike turbo sessions with paul brehaut
In January 2010 Paul Brehaut will be holding his turbo class at Capelles School every Thursday. Open to anyone who has a clean bike and a turbo these sessions are a perfect workout to improve your biking strength. The first class starts on Thursday 7 January 2010, arrive at 5.45pm to set up for a 6pm prompt start. The class is 1 hour and will cost approximately £3 (to be confirmed). Please speak to Paul Brehaut if you are interested.

Well done to Tim and Shanine Johns who competed at the Clearwater 70.3 World Championships in Florida this weekend. A brilliant performance from both with Tim completing in 4hrs 31mins and Shanine in 4hrs 54mins.

Juniors! We now have a new juniors group. You can now join the club at 14. If you would like to join click here.
sea swimming
Due to the dark nights Friday sea swims have now finished and will resume in May 2010. Please email Tim Johns if you want to be on the weekly email reminder. This will let you know which bay the evening swim will start from.
BIKE Training
Open to everyone - Sunday mornings at 8am at L'Aumone Garage providing there is no triathlon/duathlon on. Rides will be steady paced. If too many people of different abilities turn up the group may split into two.
